Students are to come to class on time and prepared with the necessary materials; two sharpened pencils, a correcting pen, a highlighter, math book, notebook, calculator, and completed homework assignment. Each student should be ready to begin working on a problem of the day or a homework problem on the board.

Students are expected to participate fully in class. This includes listening, volunteering answers and ideas, asking questions, working at the board or at the computer, and doing class work and other class activities.
